We are looking for a Goods In Inspection and Quality Administrator to join the team, handling the delivery of materials and components into the business, ensuring they meet required standards.]

It is an integral role to the success and efficiency of the business you will be responsible for the inspection of a full range of parts and components coming into both Ginetta and the LNT Group. These items will need to be checked for quality, then booked in accurately and timely before being directed to the relevant area of the company.

The successful candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a small close knit team. Sage 200 experienced is preferred but not essential. A forklift licence is required (Counter Balance essential; Reach desirable)

Key Responsibilities: ·Receiving of components and materials for the company and the Group. ·Identification of package contents to direct to relevant department or business. ·Booking in of parts onto Sage 200 stock System. ·Inspection of Parts and Components for damage and identify Quality issues. ·Correct handling and location of stock. ·Understanding company processes and departmental needs. ·Maintain high level customer service with delivery personnel and customers. ·Keeping Goods In receiving area tidy and presentable ·Monitor Goods out and daily courier requirements ·Clear and accurate communicator on all levels but especially the Manufacturing Stores team. - Health and Safety

Motorsport (Automotive) Event and Media Guru required for our sister company Want2Race.

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (required to work some weekends where the business requires)

As want2race embarks on an exciting year at our new hub at Donington Park, we are looking to grow our team internally to further develop our online presence and customer experience.

As part of your role you would be an integral part of the business & events team, supporting senior management full time from the Donington Park office. We are looking for someone to merge their creative mindset with day to day tasks to ensure the business functions.

A key aspect of the role is to develop and action marketing activity by creating social media, video and marketing content across all areas of our marketing mix. Our guru will be required to support the planning, development and implementation of events and marketing campaigns for all elements of the want2race business. You must have a can do attitude, keen eye for detail and a creative flare.

Duties

  • Capture and create exciting social media campaigns and content
  • Support the sales, marketing and event teams to ensure high levels of engagement and social media growth
  • Providing a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure that tasks are completed and campaigns are delivered on time.
  • Support in the production of all marketing materials, including printed documents, media advertising spots, website content, and social media accounts.
  • Perform daily office and administration tasks.

Requirements of the role

  • Industry understanding would be an advantage, but not compulsory if you have a creative flare and you’re a good fit for the team. You must have a passion for cars, motorsport or racing.
  • Event videography and editing experience.
  • Personality and communication skills to provide first class customer service at events and race meetings.
  • Marketing, event or social media experience
  • Good project management/organisational skills

Job profile

We are looking to recruit an experienced automotive painter to join our growing production team. Whilst being a key member of the team you must have the ability to work on your own with the flexibility to meet deadlines.

You will have a good background in paint application to a variety of materials/surface finishes, with demonstratable experience of working with crash repairs. Any experience painting carbon fibre is advantageous.

Your key responsibilities include:
• To prepare panels and various other areas of the vehicle for the paint process
• Pouring products in to spray paint mixing machinery
• Use of paint guns and upkeep of equipment
• Ability to identify scratches, pin holes, mould defects, cavities and other imperfections on bodywork
• Ability to complete high quality paint repairs in a quick and efficient manner
• Ability to work unsupervised on both new and used products, achieving the highest standard of finish possible
• Ability to work with wet lay-up GRP and gel coat for minor repairs to fibreglass bodywork.
• Ability to prioritise work and complete it to a consistently high standard, whilst adhering to Health and Safety procedures
• Ability to machine polish paint and gel coat to a high standard for customer handover
• Excellent team spirit and work ethic
• Willingness to develop and learn
• Engineering understanding

Senior Aerodynamicist :

To add to our expanding technical team we are looking to recruit a Senior Aerodynamicist, the role requirements are:

  • 5+ years’ experience in motorsport or a similar industry
  • Proficient user of CATIA V5 or similar high-end CAD package
  • Good knowledge of race car anatomy and regulations
  • Well-motivated with good self-management skills
  • Knowledge of applicable manufacturing methods
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Creative approach to problem solving, thinking outside the box
  • Team player both in the design team and company as a whole
  • Liaising with internal and external suppliers to ensure design intent is realised
  • Developing aerodynamic concepts for all areas of the car
  • Experienced with detailed surface design including bodywork splits and assembly methodology
  • Setting up and analysing CFD cases
  • Ability to manage wind tunnel programs
  • Appreciation of the packaging requirements for mechanical systems

GRP Finisher

We are looking for GRP Finisher to join the Team, who has a minimum of 3 years experience and any experience/competencies in other aspects of wet-hand lay fibreglass is also preferred.

As a Ginetta GRP finisher, you will be working as part of a team to produce the bodywork for a large number of production road and race cars, supporting the manufacturing plant.

Although predominantly team based, you must also have the ability to work on your own with the flexibility to meet deadlines.

Your key responsibilities include:
 
·Ability to work through sanding grades to achieve a flawless finish
·Be able to identify scratches, pin holes, mould defects, cavities and other imperfections on bodywork
·Ability to complete high quality gel repairs in a quick and efficient manner
·Fill, buff and polish minor mould repairs + maintain mould quality
·Ability to work unsupervised on both moulds and products
·Excellent team spirit and work ethic
·Willingness to develop and learn
·Engineering understanding
·Attention to detail
·General good housekeeping ethic & abide to Health & Safety policies

We are looking to recruit a Wiring Technician to join our growing electrical department. Although predominantly team based, you must also have the ability to work on your own with the flexibility to meet deadlines.

As a Ginetta Wiring Technician, you will be working to produce wiring looms & harnesses for a number of high-end road and race cars, whilst paying particular attention to the packaging and integration of electrical systems onto the vehicles to optimise performance.

A background in electronics is preffered but not essential, and any experience/competencies in other aspects of automotive manufacture is also beneficial. Under the mentorship and experienced guidance of our senior staff, this is the perfect opportunity for a graduate to begin their career in a forward thinking, faced paced, multi-faceted automotive manufacturer.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Great attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Ability to follow work instructions and read technical/electrical drawings

Key responsibilities 

Handle composite materials and follow established safety procedures.

Hand laminate composite components to specifications provided by project engineers.

Prepare components for oven and autoclave processing utilising vacuum bagging practices. 

Preparing tooling patterns and moulds using chemical sealers and release.

Consult and resolve quality issues as they arise, in consultation with project engineers.

Basic requirement’s

Laminating experience preferably in pre-preg but not essential.

Ideally motorsport background but other sectors considered.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawin
