As the role of Assistant Buyer to be based at our offices in Garforth, Leeds. Working in a busy environment and reporting to the Group Buyer, the successful candidate will be responsible for competitively sourcing and co-ordinating the supply of products, materials, plant for construction projects in an efficient and cost-effective manner, maintaining the focus on quality and value and ensuring that resources are provided in accordance with project programmes.
The candidate should be able to build new and develop the existing network of strong relationships with key contacts within our organisation. LNT Care Developments are currently looking for a ‘Mystery Shopper’ to join their team. You will work closely with the wider team to analyse customer and competitor care homes and demographics in a specific area. Your role will include comprehensive desktop and phone research alongside visiting existing care homes to provide information on the current Care Home provision in various locations. Such research will focus on the visual presentation of existing Care Homes, quality of staff, provision of facilities and services they provide, alongside fee levels and vacancies.
The role will also provide the wider team and external parties with comprehensive reports and presentations to demonstrate their findings.
The ideal person will have excellent attention to detail and good observation skills. You will need to be comfortable in a variety of new environments and have strong administration skills to be able to be accurate and descriptive when writing up reports to then present to the team.

An experienced Town Planner is required to join a reputable and thriving care home developer. It’s a great opportunity to join this close-knit and well-respected planning team.
Based in Garforth, Leeds, you will already be an experienced Town Planner with a background in either a private or public sector setting, working for a consultancy, local authority, developer or land promoter.
About the role:
The position will involve managing planning project work in-house, as part of the team. This will involve initial site appraisals and evaluation; preparation of written reports and statements and submission of all planning application documentation. It will also involve meeting and negotiating with Planning Officer’s and any/all parties involved in the application processes and being involved in Planning Committee and Appeal situations, as required.
As a result, you will need to be at a stage in your career where you are ready to take ownership of projects – 18 months professional planning experience is therefore the minimum, and ideally you will have more. Whatever your current skill set, you will be offered comprehensive training and support to develop skills and experience in areas where you have not yet had much exposure.
